Philosophy

Turning waste into a reusable resource is core to our business and to a sustainable future. This is a philosophy and approach that we encourage all our customers adopt. We believe everyone and every business has a role to play in reducing and recycling waste.

We are as committed as Governments are to improving the efficiency with which resources are used, reducing the impact on the environment of waste disposal, and improving the management of hazardous waste. We support the National Waste Policy, agreed by all Australian environment ministers, and that commits to a coherent, efficient and environmentally responsible approach to waste management in Australia.

Unfortunately waste generation is not decreasing despite our increased efforts to recycle and reuse.

Our products and services assist customers to:

• reduce their waste (including hazardous waste) for disposal
• manage waste as a resource
• ensure that waste management practices are undertaken in a safe, environmentally, and sound manner
• reduce their greenhouse gas emissions
• aid in energy conservation and production, water efficiency and the productivity of the land

All our products and services are ISO accredited, including compliance to ISO 14001 standards – environmental management. Environmental management is key to our strategic planning process; and is taken very seriously by the leadership team.
